This last week, our team met to test both the Knight and Gray Mage’s prologue. It was a very successful game testing session with many of the major game-breaking bugs having been fixed and a much more enjoyable experience with auto-saves enabling testers to lose little to no progress if/when major issues were encountered. There are, of course, still many bugs as shown above in the Item Menu screenshot which highlights a bug where items with zero quantity still briefly show up in the item list after you use that item.
Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be going through the comments to fix bugs, polish menus, and improve game balancing. At this point, the consensus seems to be that the Gray Mage prologue is a little bit too easy and the Knight’s prologue is a bit too hard. We have several good ideas on how to better balance the two completed prologues that we’ll be implementing.
In parallel with implementing the suggested changes from the game testing session, we’ll be working to create the art required for the Hunter’s prologue.
