We thought we’d take this opportunity to introduce the Last Dream II character classes to you. One thing you’ll notice immediately is that we’ve transitioned to unique graphic art. We’ve hired a talented graphic artist ( https://twitter.com/UncleBladey) to create new character sprites (as well as enemy battlers that we’ll show you later).
Leif: The Berserker (New Character Class in Last Dream II)
Leif was an aimless youth who found success as a member of a mercenary band.
Magos: The Black Mage
Magos has practiced ritualistic magic for decades and studied ancient tomes that talk of the magic trapped in the mysterious gates around the world.
Copernicus: The Engineer
Copernicus was a well-respected researcher at the University of Devencore. His life changes after a tragic accident for which he blames himself.
Lucius: The Gray Mage
Lucius’ background is mysterious. He has lived in the backwoods town of Ashwood for nearly a decade; however, no one knows where he lived before that and he shares very little.
Atalanta: The Hunter
Atalanta is a young warrior content with her way of life in the small village of Greenwater.
Tiberius: The Knight
Tiberius is a well-respected captain in the Delian military.
Shuar: The Lore Master (New Character Class in Last Dream II)
Shuar serves as the personal bodyguard of the Olmec Emperor. She is a powerful and supremely confident shaman capable of learning the skills of the animals and monsters that she encounters. Her life revolves around finding rare and special monsters and stealing their powerful skills for herself.
Ryukyu: The Monk
Ryukyu was left in the care of the monastery by parents too poor to support him. He grows up inside a monastery, and becomes a student of the famous marital art master “Daruma”.
Freya: The Summoner (New Character Class in Last Dream II)
Freya displayed a profound penchant for the mystic arts as a child and correspondingly, was selected for elite apprenticeships. Her family invested what little money it had into her education. After deep study and extensive work, she became a fresh member of an elite group of sorcerers who have transcended to summoners, who have the ability to appeal to the essential spirits of Gaia.
Fay: The Thief
Fay, once a street urchin, joined the Thievery guild in Tyre at a young age and has become one of their best and most reliable Thieves.
Ashima: The Time Mage (New Character Class in Last Dream II)
Ashima is part of a thaumaturgical center in Sidon that studies the magics of time and space. She is one of the three elders who oversees the training of younger Time Mages.
Elizabeth: The White Mage
Elizabeth is a respected healer in Galice. She works at the local church/charity center healing the sick.
Like Last Dream and Last Dream: World Unknown, each character class has different abilities and skills; however, unlike Last Dream, each character has a unique personality that are introduced through character-specific prologues.
