This week we’re showing some of the environment art updates.
A huge number of natural objects have been updated or expanded, including ferns, tree stumps, pine trees, ash trees, beech trees, Macedonian oaks, palm trees, and hyacinth flowers.
Many of these come in multiple sizes, colors, seasonal variants, or shapes. For example, palm trees alone include multiple heights, shapes, and canopy colors. These variations matter because they help maps feel less repetitive.
A forest, swamp, snowy area, monastery garden, or tropical coastline should each have its own visual identity. Expanding the environment art gives us many more tools to make areas feel distinct.
