Our recent development effort has been focused on developing the art and tilemaps for the Last Dream II World Map. The World Map had previously been laid out, but only with the prior stock art and older engine. Our focus so far has been:
- Ocean backdrop – 1000 tiles x 500 tiles (~4x larger than the Last Dream I World Map). The ocean also features a shader that creates a wave-like motion.

With the development of the Last Dream Fishing Arcade nearing completion, we are focusing our efforts once again on Last Dream II. We plan to release the Last Dream Fishing Arcade some during the middle of 2024. The Last Dream Fishing Arcade demo is now available on Steam. Play through the first 20% of the game for free! All save files will be automatically synced to the full game upon release and any achievements and leaderboard entries will also carry over.

We have a significant update of the Last Dream Fishing Arcade trailer to show. Feedback from the team suggested a less frenetic pace, larger fonts showed for longer to make it more readable, and a bit less focus on menus. All of those changes have been implemented and the new (hopefully final) trailer has been created.
